Anastrazole – Arimidex
Aromatase Inhibitor tablets for breakdown and annihilation of estrogen.
Anastrozole also known as Arimidex is an aromatase inhibitor or AI for short. It also falls under the anti-estrogen category. Just like Nolvadex and Clomid it is a SERM which is short for Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. But that said Aromatase Inhibitors are very different from SERMs. They deal with the estrogen break down completely differently.
Why use Anastrazole
Anastrazole is the most popular AI as it was the first to be discovered in the bodybuilding trade. It?s use is to control almost every single possible estrogen side effect and these include:
- bloating
- gynecomastia
- water retention
- high blood pressure
Best use
Nolvadex and Clomid SERMs are anti-estrogens so their role is a blocking one and these SERMs take up the position in the receptor sites so that the Estrogen cannot. So, whilst they won?t lower the levels they will certainly block any new estrogen from forming at the receptor sites.
The aromatase enzyme is responsible for the conversion of estrogen. Aromatase Inhibitors eliminate estrogen by binding to and disabling the aromatase enzyme.
Anastrazole cycles
Considering that using Anastrazole every day at 0.5mg (half a tab) reduces the circulating estrogen in the body by 50% then taking 0.5mg every other day whilst on cycle should ensure all sides are kept out completely whilst on-cycle.
